1981 Honda Accord Accord LX

1981 Honda Accord LX Hatchback, original miles, bought from my neighbor behind me who purchased new at local dealer in 1981. It is in incredibly good running order and is outstanding to drive. Starts right away and shifts thru the 3 speed automatic crisply. Everything functioning on car except AC. I had charged it up this past summer and was functional but has since leaked down. No accidents and very clean interior. Original Honda radio works well (cassette also) with two factory speakers in rear of car. Heater works well and all dash lights are functional, including the Honda "computer" that displays door open or hatch open or brake light issue. Small dings onside sheet metal(think grocery store parking lot) and paint is faded. I have waxed it to try to preserve as much natural patina for you the next owner. It should be noted I've found three rusty areas noted in the photos with red arrows. They are only surface rust at this time but should be addressed soon. No visible rusty areas underneath the car. (Additional photos available from me) Miles are verifiable via Carfax and I still have a copy of the original title from my neighbor. No modifications at all- completely stock and original. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this car anywhere, keeping in mind she's wound a little tight on the highway compared tomodernvehicles.Has a new ignition so comes with two sets of keys - other set operates all doors.
