Offered is my 1994 Honda Civic VX Hatchback. If you are looking at the listing you know how rare these cars are especially with low mileage and not converted to a race car. Even rarer is the fact that this is a Canadian manufactured 48 state lean burn version with the 5 position 02 sensor, non power steering, air conditioning delete, roll up windows, lightest weight version that gets the best mileage of all the VX's. I searched for over a year to find this car and have it brought into California from Nebraska and registered here. There are not many 48 state VX's here in California. This car gets amazing mpg as you can guess. Consistently 39-42 around town and 50-52 on the highway. This car has been the most reliable car I have ever owned and the 2 previous owners maintained the car well. The odometer was replaced at 110k, currently it reads 50,043 so the actual mileage is at 160,043. There is service paper work that supports this and included is a large folder of maintenance records from the prior owner as well as the original owners manual and key. The car runs great. 2 front tires will be needed soon, The 5speed gearbox is smooth, the clutch is still good but I imagine a future service may be in order, sometimes it seems a little grabby, I believe it is original. The timing belt was replaced once. Brakes are good. There are no issues with this car and it starts easily everytime. The outer body has a few small cosmetic issues. The hood has lost the clear coat and has a some paint wear. The side panels have a few marks and dings as shown. The rear bumper on the drivers side has become slightly separated from the body. The passenger side mirror has a crack in the housing. The interior is in good shape with wear to the seats but overall pretty nice. The title is clean on this car. When I first brought the car into California due to the lean burn engine it passed the stringent California emissions. The second time I had it smogged it was close but barel failed due to the original catalytic converter, Since this Honda catalytic converter is no longer manufactutred I had it signed off by the smog referee. I only note this for potential California buyers, out of state buyers this is a non issue. This fantastic low mileage VX is a rare find with lots of great economical trouble free miles ahead!
