I am auctioning off my 1983 GMC K1500 Sierra Classic 5.7l, Automatic Overdrive, 4X4 Truck. The factory options for this truck are power steering, power brakes, tilt wheel, cruise control, A/C, power windows, power locks and dual gas tanks. The hydro boost power brakes are disconnected, I was planning on converting over to vacuum boost brakes, but never got to it. The brakes themselves are still functioning, just not power assisted. The truck runs good, but will need an alternator, it wines and doesn't charge, the throttle is a little stiff, may need a cable and the ignition key is a little sticky, meaning when you start the truck the key doesn't bounce back on it's own, you have to help it. It also could use a coolant flush, it looks like someone mixed green with red and now it's brown. The truck moves forward, backward under it's own power and stops, I never put it on the road so I don't know how well it shifts. The A/C is disconnected along with the cruise control, the original parts are in the tool box. The power windows barely work, the power locks don't work at all and the dual tanks don't switch over. I purchased this truck about two years ago pretty much as you see it with the full attentions of restoring it, but then life got in the way. All I managed to do to it was change the oil, spark plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor, air cleaner and put a new battery in it. I also put new hedman hedders on with new hedder bolts, collectors and blended the exhaust into the existing dual exhaust. The truck rides on older 33x12.50R15 LT Goodyear Wranglers that are a little dry. The right front tire has a slow leak and will leak down over the course of a week. The tires still have decent meat on them, but all they are good for is playing in the mud. The 4WD works, but the front driveshaft needs to be rebuilt or replaced. The truck did come with a second front driveshaft in the tool box, but I never tried changing it. Actually all the parts in the tool box were in the truck when I bought it.

The truck is very solid for it's age. It has a strong platform for a nice restoration. Take a look at the pictures, the worse of the rust is in the outer rockers and cab corners. The doors aren't the best, but the inner rockers, floors and cab mounts are still pretty solid. It will need new cab bushings. If you carefully review the pictures, you will see that I do have both new rockers and both new cab corners for this truck. I also have both new power widow regulators with motors.

I did receive extra parts with this truck along with a 383ci stroker short block and some parts for it. Everything I have for this truck goes with this truck. All the information I have on the 383 stroker is shown in the pictures. Some of the miscellaneous parts are as follows. New windshield gasket with lock ring, two new cab mounts, a new truck B&M mega shifter, a new aluminum coolant overflow tank, a new headlight bezel, another new distributor cap and a bunch of random small parts like dash pieces and other things. You could see in the pics, that there is what I believe to be the original GMC grille and a used dash pad.

Again! Everything I have for this truck, goes with this truck! I will not separate! As you can see in the last picture, everything is nicely loaded and strapped down ready to go. The truck will stay loaded and in the garage until the winner comes to pick it up or decides to send a transporter. This truck needs to be hauled home on a trailer! Buyer is responsible for picking up or making arrangements for transport.
This truck is being sold AS-IS with NO written or implied warranty. It is a project truck, it is NOT street drive-able and will need to be hauled. I require a $250.00 NON refundable deposit at the end of auction.
!! Remember !! NO Reserve !! Last Bidder Wins !! So Please Bid Accordingly and GOOD LUCK !!
Thank you for viewing my auction.
