Offered for sale by owner in Missoula Montana: 1992 GMC Yukon SLE 163,000 miles. 5.7 liter throttle body injection engine, automatic transmission with overdrive, floor shift 4x4. This yukon runs and drives great both in town and on the highway, its a great cruiser that gets complements everywhere it goes! Its spent the majority of its life in the pacific northwest. Garage kept most of its life the yukon is in mostly original condition, it has recently received a full exterior and interior detail. Some paint chips were touched up as well as a full cut and buff, then a wax job on the paint. the undercarriage was professionally undercoated with por-15. I have installed 17 inch factory alloy GMC wheels on 10 ply 265/70/17 all terrain tires it looks great. Aside from the wheels and tires the yukon is bone stock and original. -Body details:
The body is in excellent condition for a 1992 it is very straight showing only minor dings and scratches, no significant dents or damage. There is zero rust through, only normal surface corrosion like you would normally find on a vehicle of this vintage. The tub of the body is rust free, the frame is solid and looks good. The chrome is in good condition.
-Interior details:
SLE package with cloth bucket seats and all power options. The interior is exceptional on this vehicle, anyone who sees it comments on how clean and original it is. No tears in the upholstery, never been smoked in. The drivers seat is in excellent shape seat motor works great. headliner is exceptional, all the gauges work. Original floor mats. the dash has never been modified and has no cracks.
-Engine/drivetrain details:
The engine has received a full tune-up and runs like new it has great power and doesn't smoke or rattle. Brand new distributor and inspection. The transmission is in great shape it shifts well and has no issues, the 4x4 works great too. Brakes, steering and shocks feel good.
Work it could use:
The A/C system needs updated to R-134a all of the A/C components are there and are in working order. On the right side of the windshield their is a small rock chip that needs filled in, no cracks. The radio currently isn't working the display comes on but it needs a new audio receiver for sound to come out, this is a common issue with these year of GM vehicles. The buyer could fix the factory unit or have some aftermarket audio installed i didn't address this issue because i wasn't sure what direction the next owner would want to go with it. Everything else works great!
