Description:

1979 GMC Jimmy

1979 GMC high sierra, currently located in Calexico, CA. It has a 5.3L engine,350 tranny, Method wheels, 37-inch BFGoodrich Kr2 tires, 12 bolts diff in rear and 10 bolts front with 373 gears, AMP power steps, pair kc hid lights, Fox shocks all around, dual optima batteries $3,000 to $4,000 worth of audio equipment (jlw7 13.5 sub, jl1000/1 amp, epicenter audio control etc..) Borla XR1exhaust, and a B&M Quicksilver shifter etc. This is 40 years old car, so is not perfect but is a really head turner. Cons: The current tires are too big for the 3.73 gears, but they work fine. Switching to 4.56 gears would improve highway performance. The paint is good overall, but there are scratches and stains. The hood hinges were affected by a previous accident, causing a lifted appearance at the back, but they function perfectly. There is a limited slip differential that makes some noises when turning, but it works well. It has rust where it is common for this truck to have rust. The car has Mexican papers but can be registered in California. The registration process takes around 6 weeks and starts after the buyer's name is provided. There is no warranty, and the buyer is responsible for inspecting the vehicle. $500 deposit can be made via Zelle when the vehicle is bought, the rest in cash. It's a fun car to drive and is sold as is. Videos and pics upon request.
