1972 GMC 2500 Sierra Grande

Here goes. Bought it 4-5 months ago and it's been in my garag, ready for new Owner now. When I bought they failed to tell me about the Rust in the front right area. See two pics. S, I bought a new RF inner fende, a full-across Radiator support piec, a rust-free right Original GMC correct Outer fender (will need new matching paint, and all the bolts and bushings to be installed on the right side to support radiator full-across piece. Very little welding will be neede, maybe none. Just unbolt and re-bolt and paint replacement fender. I bought new body bolts too. There is next to No Rust anywhere else on the truck. Very solid truc, with metal bed botto, not wood. Nice Sierra Grande 2500 truck with very recent top-end motor wor, Heads totally re-don, New HEI Distributor and new Edelbrock Carb, w/ manual choke. The previous owner did the motor wor, and HE, and tune-up. And New Windshiel, and the New brake master w/ booste, and two New complete front disc brake caliper units. Also the complete New Interior w/ Sea, carpe, door panel, and Dash pa, and New Steering Wheel . . Also the Rear brake wheel slave cylinders are New. And a New 12 volt electric fuel pump. S, here is what I have don, and a list of New spare parts too. The old tires were B, so I installed 4 new 50K mileage Warranty 10-ply Multi-mile size 265/75-r16.. And 4 New KYB HD shocks. There is no spare tire. New correct size battery and rust-free support tra, (tray will need final bolting to full-across support piece). All New Polyurethane Sway Bar Bushings. Changed Rear-end 90W fluid. Engine and Tranny both look good and clean. New Locking NOS Gas Cap. All New Belts (3) installed. All New Stainless Steel polished Bed Rail Protectors and Tailgate piece too. There is a spare like new Edelbrock Carb in good shape. (in the Box). The 2 saddle gas tanks most likely cannot be used until inspected and flushed out etc. The dual exhaust sounds and looks good from front to rear exits. All lights work. There is a heavy duty frame-bolted tow hitch. The tailgate is near perfect. So is the metal Bed . All locks work. I greased the entire front end and checked it and it is tight. Since I thought I was keeping the truc, I bought these new part, most of which do not need to be installed right away. Motor mount, Auto Tranny rear moun, 3 U-joint, Auto tranny Filte, Power steering Pump and hose, Driveline center support bearin, Copper Heater Cor, Spare Edelbrock car, and a Lower Driver's Door Wide Moulding trim piec, (the one on there is very faded, Door Hinge Bolt replacement Kit for both Door, (Driver's door has minor play in upper hinge , .That's about it. May be a couple more small items, I will check. There is a rear bed Cargo light. The rear leaf springs seem good . There are no missing body trim pieces. Paint is pretty goo, some has been re-sprayed recently. Front Grill and Bumper are real nice. Glove box is fine. Motor Starts right Up and sounds like the muscle truck that it is !!! Last year of a great line of GM trucks. Like I sai, all the body parts and bolts you need are Included to eliminate any rust and mechanical parts to do some preventive maintenance too. The gas tank is ful, so if someone wants to transport the truck away I will drive around some to lower the tank level. I can assist with loading the truck for transport. Mileage stated is not Original. (most likely ) Sold As-I, with no warranties. Thanks for looking !!!
