1972 GMC C15 C15

Up for your consideration is this 1972 GMC C15 service truck with a utility service bed that has locking storage compartments and great patina. Just detailed with "Sweet Patina"The truck has a 4.8 LS / 4L60E out of a 2004 Silverado that is controlled by the stock ECM that has been tuned with HP Tuners. The truck starts, runs, shifts, and drives great. The engine has headers with dual exhaust. New aluminum radiator with dual electric fans controlled by the ECM. The truck also has power steering, power disc brakes, Quick Performance 9 inch Ford rear with 3.70 gears and an Eaton true trac rear end. New driveshaft and u joints from Driveline Specialties. New alternator, K&N cold air intake with filter. The transmission is shifted by a floor mounted Lokar shifter. The truck has been lowered with dropped spindles and Bell Tech shocks and also has a front sway bar and track bars on the rear.20 inch Detroit Steel wheels painted in the stock off white color with the GMC poverty caps and stainless trim rings. Tires are Falken 245/50/20 in the rear and 245/45/20 in the front and have less than 500 miles on them.Inside the gauges have been upgraded with Classic Industries C10/C15 cluster that has the speedometer, tach, oil pressure, water temp, volts, fuel level, and clock. All work correctly and the speedo is calibrated. Pioneer AM/FM/Bluetooth radio with 100 watt kick panel speakers. Hushmat is installed under the new OER carpet and floor mats. Ford King Ranch split bench seat with center arm rest and Retro seat belts. Newer GM tilt column with Grant steering wheel. All of the signals, wipers, and lights work as they should and the truck has been NSRA safety 23 inspected. The following items have been installed new within the last year. Door rubbers, sill plates, kick panels, speakers, radio, insulation, carpet, gas tank, fuel sender, radiator hoses, alternator, battery, headlights, plug wires, and plugs. The engine and transmission have both been serviced last week and are ready for the summer. The truck started its life down south as a radio service truck and has dual whips on the utility bed. All of the doors on the utility bed open and close and have functioning locks. I use this truck as a truck and it has hauled everything from plywood to motorcycles in the bed. The rockers were replaced by the previous owner and it has some rust in the passenger side cab corner and on both of the door bottoms. I have new cab corners and door bottoms that I purchased from LMC truck that will be included with the purchase.I just finished the install of the Vintage Air Sure Fit C10 AC/Heat. The AC is ice cold and the heat/defrost is great on those cold mornings in the fall.I had plans to keep this truck and use it for my business but I have the opportunity to purchase my dream vehicle, so I reluctantly must let it go to help finance the purchase. I have many boxes of new and used parts that I purchased for the truck that I haven't installed yet so they will go with the truck. Some of the parts are as follows. Door, radio, cab corners, door bottoms, headliner, cab mat, insulation, window glass rubber, and window felts. This truck is very road worthy and has been driven all over the Midwest. I use it as a truck but also take it to car shows and cruise nights where it always attracts a crowd. I would not hesitate to get in it and drive anywhere. With that being said it is an old truck and is being sold in AS IS condition with NO warranty written or implied. You can fly in and drive it home or have it shipped. I can assist in shipping arrangements but the costs are the responsibility of the new owner.I would like a $1000 non refundable deposit due within 48 hours of the auction close with the balance payable in the form of wire transfer, cashiers check, or cash within 5 business days of auction close. All funds must clear my bank before the truck leaves for its new home. I have a clean and clear Iowa title in my name that will be priority mailed to the new owner when all funds are paid.My reserve price is very reasonable for the truck and I know the new owner will like it as much as I do.Feel free to email or call me with any questions. I will do my best to respond in a timely manner. I encourage you to come kick the tires and look it over in person or have it inspected. I want the potential buyer to be informed about the truck before placing the bid. The truck runs and drives great and has patina that has been earned from many years of service. Thanks for looking at the add and Bid to Win. Its For Sale!
