Vehicle Details1964 GMC 1½ TON Flatbed, 454 Big Block engine, 4-speed manual transmission. No grinding. Lots of power. Heavy duty bed (13’ long, 7’ 9” wide) with recessed mounts for tie-downs. Dual exhaust hidden in vertical tubes of head rack. Aluminum ramps for loading vehicles are stow under the bed and pull out from a hidden door behind the license plate. Dual gas tanks, one behind the seat, the other on the left under bed. Tool box under right side.

I’ve owned the truck since June 2021 and had various work done to get it into good running order: engine tune up. Replaced spark plugs, cap, rotor, points, condenser and wire set. Adjusted ignition timing and carburetor mixture. Replaced electric fuel pump, filter and lines. Added fuel pressure regulator. Replaced voltage regulator, alternator, and battery. Replaced carburetor with remanufactured Edelbrock Performer; cleaned out gas tanks; miscellaneous tune-ups and wiring repairs. Truck is located in Pescadero, CA. Selling because of a move to New Mexico.

Horn, tail lights, high beams and interior lights stopped working recently - suspect a wiring issue. Paint job: I really love the paint job on this truck — it looks green or purple, depending on how the light hits it. But it is failing and should be re-done.

Some info from the previous owner: Truck was used for hauling an off-road vehicle on the bed while towing another vehicle behind on a trailer. Plenty of power. Tires are lightly used but old and ready for replacement. Front suspension was rebuilt, engine was rebuilt with low miles, transmission was rebuilt. New brakes, interior was done, and painted 10 years ago in chrome allusion. Had the truck parked for 12 years with a non-op. Never have to smog this one!
