Vehicle Details1955 GMC 150, 3/4 ton - original 270 motor with 4 speed trans. It is still the original 6 volt, positive ground, with a year old battery. I have owned it since 1988, but have stored it mostly. I did put new rings and bearings in it many years back, but does not have more than 200 miles since then. It is an Arizona truck, there is no rust-out that I could find anywhere, but plenty of surface rust - see photos. It runs smooth, sometimes takes starting fluid to start when cold. The brakes need some attention, but does stop. Also the generator is not charging. It has the original 17" wheels. The tires are old but all hold air well. The speedometer, fuel gauge, oil pressure and temp gauges all work. The oil pressure is at 60psi when first started, drops around 35-40 after warmed up. Looks to be original paint on what is left, other than the left door. Both doors open and close well. It needs a lot of body work, as you can see in the photos, if doing a restoration.
