1964 GMC 3/4 Ton Pickup C1000

This 1964 GMC 3/4 Ton Pickup C1000 has that attraction where an honest day's work meets intricate detail and style. It's the kind of appeal that comes from a real extra-duty pickup that could be put to real use, but really, it's best purpose today is turning heads no matter at a cruise-in or a hardware store run.
The bold GMC styling of this era is now a thing of legend. The body has a wraparound crease that proves the '60s were a great time for designers even at GM's truck division. You can see all these details today thanks to great care with the sheetmetal. Plus, this has a thorough two-tone presentation. The blue is part of a more recent respray that gives it a good gloss in the sunshine. It's joined by a detailed white package on the bumpers, grille, and cab roof. And we especially like the white upper portion of the bed that seems to connect directly to the streak of white running up the front of the truck. It's such a detailed package, that even the extra-duty 8-lug wheels are part of this white accenting. But the finish of the paint and the wood used in the bed is left in the kind of condition where this pickup doesn't need to be afraid to get to work. You even have nice extras, like liner paint on the bed walls and a trailer hitch on the rear bumpers. So this 3/4-ton truck can still pull real duty while promoting your business or just be a genuinely useful classic for household chores.
This pickup keeps its workman attitude on the inside, but it still does it with class. Items like the seat, door panels, and rubber floor mats show signs of a fresh investment. But they're all period-correct kind of pieces so that you never lose the vintage atmosphere. The grippy dual-spoke steering wheel, clean dash, and factory gauges are all part of a package that's pure nostalgia.
The cool "V6" badge on the front fenders clues you in to what's under the hood. GMC invested in one of the first mass-produced V6 engines for the 1960s. With 305 cubic-inches inside, it's got V8 levels of displacement and power, and the column-shifted three-speed manual really helps you take full control over it all. The truck is a great representation of this unique motor. The burly V6 not only wears the correct bright red engine enamel, but also the details are nice, right down to the GM valve covers. This even has a new radiator, hoses, and upgraded to a 12-volt alternator. So you have a well-respected drivetrain that makes for a strong and powerful heart.
Complete with owner's manual, it's amazing you can get such a distinctive truck for such an affordable price. That's why we know it won't be in our showroom long. Call today!!!
