I am selling this 1983 GMC Sierra Classic, Short Box, C10 Truck. It was completely Rust Free Before it began restoration, almost 2 years ago. Lived it's entire life in Arkansas. The doors, hood, and Box were removed for work and painting. I have a notebook, with many pictures taken during the process. I should be able to send more pics, if we are allowed to share phone numbers. The pics show how rust free even the frame is. This Pickup received new front upper and lower ball joints, heavy duty front brakes, shocks, pitman arm, tires, etc. etc. The interior was completely gutted, I installed new sound deadener and carpet on the floor, seat was professionally Re-upholstered, and padded, new Bluetooth radio, new custom LMC Dash pad. All new rubber around ALL the windows, vent windows, and doors. New shaded windshield and driver's window. New Driver's side Power window motor. Rims were stripped down, painted and clear coated. Has a nice Flowmaster Dual exhaust system. Power windows and locks. Inside of box was sprayed with 2 kits of body colored Bed liner. This is a factory dual tank,truck. The switching mechanism works great. One tank has been replaced with a new one. Gage works on either tank. The Truck has a newer Center bolt valve cover motor with an Edlebrock carb and Headers. Runs very good, great oil pressure. 60 psi cold, and a little over 30 psi at a hot idle in gear. To be honest, I am not sure if it's a 305 or 350. I can't quite see the numbers behind the cruise control servo. I'm guessing it's a 305, but it must have small chamber heads on it, because I checked compression on all 8 cylinders, and I got anywhere from 165 to 180 psi. The carb was rejetted for optimum performance, all ignition parts are new, as well as alternator. It has a Turbo 350 Trans with shift kit. Rear end fluid has been changed, it has 2:73 gears, so it's a nice cruiser. It's still pretty spunky for having that gear ratio. All gauges work. New rubber on front and back windshield. New headliner. Truck is sporting all the original GMC Moldings on the Cab and Tailgate, including the hood ornament. Very original in appearance. Super Clean, It is also sporting the original Colors, Medium Bronze Metallic, and Almond. The air conditioner works when charged, but has a very small leak, that we have been unable to find. New AC hoses. New rear bumper. I would not be afraid to drive this truck anywhere. Everything on this truck that was needed was replaced.
