About this vehicleThis 1971 GMC Pickup is an original with updates to the drivetrain. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives.Seller's NotesThis is a driver. Runs and drives very well. Born in Cali, moved to SC 15 years ago, came to MS last year. Title in hand. All original sheet metal, with typical rust in rockers, cab corners decent, bed tubs, lower front fenders small holes. One very old repaint.Factory original drivetrain:402 c.i. th400 auto, 14 bolt axle 3:54 gear (tag intact) PB, PS, A/C cab (no compressor or brackets), plans to install VintageAir. Odometer stopped at 97k, guessing it has 102k now. All gauges and horn work except gas gauge and speedo. Nothing has been rebuilt. Have extra parts to include new rockers, kick panel, 2 Holley electric frame mount fuel pumps, new mechanical fuel pump and rod, Trans adjustable vacuum modulator, trans filter and oil, og steering column, two rust free bed tubs, frame c-notch kit, front bumper brackets w/hardware, still have the under-bed spare tire carrier, and in bed spare bracket. Still have the points ignition parts.I will work on some of the issues as I have time, until it sells. I still drive it.
