Description:
1994 GMC Vandura Explorer
Up for bid is my 1994 GMC Vandura G2500 1/2 Ton Van that I purchased back on 6/2011 with 134,518 miles on it. In the last 8 years I have only put about 12k gentle miles on it. Odometer reads 146,647 at time of listing. Here is a list of upgrades I have performed since I purchased the van: New Brakes & Alternator @ 135k, New Polyurethane Sprayed Roof & New Upper Window Seals @135.5, All New Vacuum Lines @137k, New Radiator & Cooling System @ 140k, New A/C Front & Rear @ 140k (blows cold), New Electric In-Tank Fuel Pump @ @140k, New Power Steering Box & Pump @ 144k, Rebuilt Transmission & Installed Top Of The Line Trans Cooler @ 145k. I also had a Prodigy 2 Trailer Brake Controller installed along with the best overload springs money can buy installed on the rear leaf springs. Tow hitch. Van is rated to pull up to 5000 lbs. Tires and wheels were new take-offs from a Chevy Silverado (tires have 80% tread). I have well over $8000 in receipts over the last 8 years plus the original price I paid for the van. No major oil leaks, if any. All work was performed by local reputable repair shops. I did all of these improvements to use the van for camping at my annual fishing grounds in the Sierra's. There is a couch/bench seat (w/seat belts) under the bedding, which comes with a great foam mattress topper. It converts at the push of a button. Also, I have the 2 original seats for the center. The mounting plates are under the piece of carpet I have over the original carpet for protection of the plates. All upholstery is in very good condition except for drivers seat (shown in photos). Upgraded to 12" LED TV and DVD Player (runs on 12 volt). Roof rack and ladder. LED mood lighting inside. Comes with original Owners Manual. I wouldn't even be thinking about letting it go but I recently purchased a travel trailer and although the 5.7 liter 350 cubic inch motor is a great motor, it wasn't enough horsepower for me pulling the trailer so I went out and spent the big bucks on a diesel pick-up truck. The van is not without character. It has a few nicks and dings along with a very little rust taking place on the front, passenger side under the windshield (shown in photos). I put some silicone over it back when I purchased, and it hasn't changed since. There is one small water (drip) leak on the passenger side coming in from the upper rain gutter. I have a tube of Polyurethane I can give you (from Home Depot) to fill it yourself. Although, if you look at the picture of the roof, it looks as though it could use another coat sometime soon. I can give the buyer the place I got it done originally for $600. Hey, it lasted 8 years. For $600, I didn't think it would last that long. I'm sure they would fill the rest of the gutters and give it a fresh coat for the same. This van is tough like a truck but rides like a dream. I would drive it cross country, that's how much confidence I have in this van. I have tried to be as upfront about everything on the van. Hopefully, someone will get it that will appreciate the van for years to come. These are very rare and hard to find. Especially in this condition! More photos upon request. Please Note: If you have ANY questions, please ask prior to bidding. Please DO NOT bid unless you're serious. A $500 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit via PayPal is due by the winning bidder within 24 hours of auction ending. Winning bidder has 2 weeks to payoff remaining balance in CASH and pick up van, unless other arrangements are made between bidder and seller prior to auction ending. If for any reason the winning bidder at the time of picking up of the van does not feel as though I have been forthcoming about the van, deposit will gladly be refunded.

I forgot to mention that there is a Moon Roof toward the rear. The two switches that are available to open and close it, never worked since I bought it. Since it was right over the bed, I was ok with that. I figured if it was closed, sealed, and didn't leak, I wouldn't mess with it. I just stuck some sun shield material up there to keep the sun from wreaking havoc on the interior.
