For sale: This listing is for a 1970 GMC 2500 V8 Custom Camper Pickup Truck. Truck has a 350 V8 engine with 2 bbl. carb and automatic transmission. It is a long bed, fleet side truck with camper tie downs, full rear trailer hitch with receiver, wired trailer light hookups, heavy 16.5 inch tires, wagon wheel rims (8 lug), two sets of hubcaps (new and used), a service manual, and six extra original rims. Truck was just recently pulled out of long storage - so it is not running (but is loose), does roll (has one stuck brake, left rear), and is complete other than needing fresh gas, a cleaned fuel tank, a new battery, possibly a carb rebuild (easy), and possibly brake cleaning and work along with new fluids. Truck has had and has antifreeze in it along with full engine oil. Truck has 89000 original miles with accessories of a AM radio, auto trans., camper special package, heavy suspension, and a temp gauge. It was repainted to a darker green color years ago (amateur job but presentable), pinstriped, and new rims added. There are runs and drips in the paint and the paint is solid, but dull (confident it could be color sanded or clear coated with a better look). There is some filler in the truck - where mirrors used to be and above rear wheel wells. Chrome is good, fairly straight, tailgate and edges are solid as shown, a few small rust holes in the bed (nothing structural), and very solid sills and floors and frame.This would make a great shop or farm truck, could be restored as a collector vehicle, or could be turned into a hot rod etc... plenty of room under the hood!*****
