1971 GMC Sprint

Up for auction is a 1971 GMC Sprint. This is not a Chevy El Camino, but a rare GMC branded vehicle of the same body style. Only 5,536 of these vehicles were made in 1971 (the first model year for the Sprint). This car is an excellent example of how a muscle car should be. Complete with a rebuilt 402 Big Block, spec'd as a 454 (car originally had a 350), mated to a TH-400 automatic transmission (fresh rebuild) and a 4.10 rear gear housed in a 12-bolt rear end. The vehicle had A/C (now disconnected, but provisions still exist) and has power steering and power brakes (front disc and rear drum).
This is a solid car throughout with an amazing paint job and solid body with no rust issues. There are a few minor imperfections on the roof of the vehicle that are barely noticeable. The original interior is in near immaculate condition (minor crack on the dash top corner) and the exhaust note is just pure bad ass. The engine starts right up and runs smooth. The front suspension is updated and two new tires were just added to the vehicle.
The Sprint is a head-turner and a unique addition to any car collection. You will love this car!
