Old parts: FRAME - But it was acid dipped, stripped, cleaned, and treated to fresh chassis black and a light sound deadening/coating for protection. BODY PANELS - But it was completely disassembled, cleaned, prepped and painted in multiple coats of stunning Liquid Black before being carefully put back together and finished sanded and buffed to perfection. REAR AXLE - But the entire thing was taken apart to the case, cleaned and stuffed with all new internals, seals, gaskets, bearings, mounts, and hardware. VENT WINDOW TRIM AND HANDLE - but it was cleaned and fit with all new glass and rubber seals. Other than that, virtually EVERY SINGLE OTHER PIECE, PART, NUT, BOLT, WASHER, COTTER PIN, GLASS, SEAL, BEARING, GASKET, CLIP, CLAMP, HOSE, LINE, CONNECTOR, WIRE, TRIM PIECE, WOOD SLAT, GROMMET, SWITCH, MOUNT, AND GAUGE in the truck is BRAND SPANKING NEW!!!!! No expense was spared in creating a one-of-a-kind truck that is ready for the fall show circuit, or equally as happy to head off on that Route 66 trip you've been dreaming about. PLEASE UNDERSTAND THIS - It's not just a couple new things, and a few new parts.
IT IS ESSENTIALLY A COMEPLETE BRAND NEW TRUCK DONE FROM THE GROUND UP TO BE THE BEST OF THE BEST. When you look through the 225 photos below, you will see that there is not ONE blemish that is evident on the exterior of the truck, and it shows to be in AS NEW condition from the front to the back. Great care was taken to block and prep the truck before color was applied, and in the photos you may see water spots and reflections from the ground, but I assure you that there are NO CHIPS, SCUFFS, SCRATCHES, or damaged areas on the entire painted exterior of it. It is in the top 10 of ALL overall finish condition vehicles I have had in 13 years of doing this. You can read your text messages in your phones reflection. It is 100% RUST FREE, and has NO bubbles, NO blisters, NO bondo panels, and NO crushed up beer cans or chicken wire. It is ALL 100% real steel, and all exceptional. Headlights and tail lights are all brand new, and all work perfectly. Rear bumper is reportedly the ORIGNAL unit that came with the truck when new from the dealer in Austin, TX, and still has the stamping on it!!!! It was completely cleaned, stripped, and refinished to show like new. All of the glass, with the exception of the vent windows mentioned above, is BRAND NEW and in perfect condition with no chips, cracks, or flaws. All rubber seals and weather stripping throughout the truck is brand new. Window regulators, fuzzies, and tracks are all brand new. Mirrors, antenna, wiper arms, and door handles are brand new. There is a close up photo of every single square foot of the truck below. It shows how nice everything is. All of the trim was professionally powder coated or color-matched to the truck, and is in new condition all the way around. It is all flaw and blemish free. Bed wood is brand new, and was hand stained and water sealed before being installed with all new polished slats and hardware, as well as new fender inners. It rolls on brand new 18" American Racing show polished 5-star rims wrapped in Michelin radials size 265/60R18 with less than 500 miles on them. Inside, the entire cab is filled with all BRAND NEW items, and it goes together beautifully. Dash and cab interior is painted in Smoke Gray PPG finish, and looks amazing as a counterpoint to the black exterior. Gauge cluster was sent out for a complete professional restoration to save the functional original odometer. It has functional Speedo/Odometer, functional tachometer, functional fuel gauge, and functional gauges for battery, temp, and oil pressure. Light and washer control switches are new, and work perfectly. Steering column was completely restored and finished in the cab color before being topped with a GRANT GT 3-spoke black wheel with soft cover that is brand new. New key switch was installed, along with a new 12V cigar lighter and outlet. A new Vintage Auto Sound AM/FM stereo was installed with hidden speakers, and sounds great while supplying AM/FM and MP3 expandability in a stock appearing head unit. Ashtray is like new as well, as is the center vent for the air conditioning and the Vintage Air control panel with 3-bar functionality. Glove box opens and closes as it should, and the liner is brand new. Brake, gas, and E-Brake pedals are all new. Carpeting is factory reproduction style, and is brand new. It is installed over a layer of dynamat. Lokar supplied the shifter with polished base and rubber boot, and it looks and works perfectly. The custom built center console is finished in gloss black, and has a padded top that flips forward to provide a writing surface, two cup holders, a cellphone holder, and large storage cubby. Door panels are brand new OEM units, with new window rollers, armrests, trim hardware, and door pulls. Dual bucket seats were sourced from a VW Wolfsburg Edition. They were installed with functional seat belts, and BOTH have 6-way power functionality AND power lumbar support!!!! They are in excellent condition and show like new. Headliner, visors, and back wall cover are new, as is the functional dome light. GMPP was sourced for the brand new 355hp ZZ4 350CI V8 motor, as well as the brand new 700R4 automatic overdrive transmission. As you would imagine, they are both BRAND NEW and work perfectly, with all brand new mounts, hoses, rubbers, plugs, wires, harnesses, headers, carb, blah, blah, blah. IF IT IS UNDER THE HOOD, IT IS BRAND NEW. The entire truck has less than 500 miles on it, and has had the test run oil change done, as well as an oil change at 150 miles, and another at 400 miles. It is ready to go. Hedman headers feed into a crossover dual exhaust system with Flowmasters that sounds absolutely INCREDIBLE! Brand new power braking system with disc front and drum rear is perfectly proportioned and stops the truck with any pulling of excessive fade. It is ALL NEW from hardware to the lines to the fluid in the reservoir. Power steering system is new as well, and operates perfectly. Again, if it is under the hood, it is ALL NEW. Chassis is all new as well, with an Early Classics lowering kit, drop spindles, new A-arms, new bushings, new bearings, new hardware, new everything. The only thing original is the frame and axle, and you read at the beginning that they were completely refurbished to like-new condition. New is the word of the day. It basically describes the whole truck. There is a 3.25" stack of receipts that comes with it documenting every dollar and dime spent on it in the 5 years it took to build. They all come with the truck, as well as any installation manuals, instruction guides, warranty cards, decals, etc. that were associated with the components on the truck. It starts, stops, steers, handles, rides, and drives like a brand new truck, because IT IS a brand new truck. No apologies, no stories, no issues, no quirks, no bugs to work out, no anything. This is one of the nicest, newest, cleanest, and well-built trucks you'll ever find.
