Selling my 1988 GMC Jimmy Sierra Classic. This is a 99% original, unmolested, full size SUV. It has original and authentic 71,589 miles, originally from Montana. It is rust free! The top comes off, although it looks like it has never been off. This was the top of the line trim available 30 years ago.
As far as I know, it's 99% original condition including the paint, carpet, upholstery, trim, rubbers, etc. All original matching # drive train including motor, TRANS, transfer case and differentials.
Exterior: Rust free -original two-toned apple red and frost white exterior. Brand new tires Falken Wildpeak A/T (32x11.50R15 (still got nipples on them). Brand new Warn locking hubs. All glass in good shape, no breaks or cracks. Brand new windshield. All chrome where it should be. All lights/brakes/horn work - passed safety inspection.Underneath is stock and very clean! The Jimmy is very clean and dry top to bottom.
Drivetrain: Original 5.7L (350 cubic inch TBI) engine starts as it should, and runs/sounds outstanding. Brand new stainless stock exhaust installed. No smoke, no fluids leaking anywhere. Engine compartment clean and burns no oil. Original automatic transmission shifts as it should - no issues. All fluids recently flushed/changed. Steering is a bit loose, likely due to it being 30 years old.
Interior: Original luscious shag burgandy cloth seat/interior. All gauges work (including the oil pressure gauge). Upgraded stereo. Speakers could use some more attention. Original dash has a couple normal cracks. Headliner is immaculate. Smooth with no sag anywhere. Doors have no tears, rips, or burn marks. Power door locks and power windows work. Windows are a little slow going up. Reclining bucket seats, rear bench seat, and all carpet are in excellent shape, with no rips, marks or cigarette burns. A/C recently converted to R134 - and blows cold.
This full size Sierra Classic came fully loaded, including heavy duty trailering special equipment package, which included the platform trailer hitch and external oil cooler. Also has the factory cold weather package with warm engine external plug. Comes with the original silver rally wheels.
The original low miles, 71k, are documented on the clean Virginia title. Title in hand.
Not many unmolested, rust free, full size Jimmy/Blazers around anymore. Good luck!
