Description:
1976 GMC Sierra 1500
I brought this rust free survivor up from Kentucky a few years ago. It is an unrestored, all original, well maintained, numbers matching truck with 143,XXX miles on it. The previous owner thought that it was also original paint, and it does look that way, but there are signs of an old re-paint. It has dual gas tanks that actually switch over properly, the parking brake works. The clutch is original and doesn't slip, but it does chatter a bit sometimes. The tires are excellent and it runs and drives great. It does puff blue smoke when you start it up. (If you know old small block chevys, you almost expect that)It has some dings and scratches, dents inside the box, tailgate is bowed out a bit, and the passengers side rocker panel is pushed up near the cab corner (see pics) Inside, the dash pad is cracked, the clear lens over the gauges is cloudy, and the seat is worn. I had no plans to restore it, but if you did, it would be a very easy restoration. Truck is sold as-is. Buyer is responsible for pick up/shipping.Vehicle Details:
