1951 GMC 630 Classic Single Axle Highway Tractor with Air Brakes

This old GMC had been in a farmer's field for upwards of 20 years. At first it seemed that the engine was seized but turned out that only the water pump was seized. The air brake compressor and engine both turned over.
After replacing plugs, points, condenser, plug wires, and running a wire directly from the battery to the coil, we gave her a pull to see if it would go. We had pulled it less than 20 feet before the old girl roared to life. Of course we only ran it momentarily since coolant is not circulating, but the engine runs and runs well.
The old truck has no gas tank. Tires are just good enough to hold air.
