1954 GMC Other retromod half ton

1954 GMC Short Be, Retromod, 5 window 1/2 ton pickup truck on a 1993 Chevrolet half ton frame. Vortex V8, Power Steering, Power Brakes, auto transmission.
Body: '54 GMC: In good shape 5 window model, paint job is nice, but not show (looks good at a few feet). One scratch above left rear fender. Full length running boards, wood (oak) bed with chrome runners. Interior: Custom Dash and working modern gauges are from the 1993 Chevy 1/2 ton shortened to accommodate the classic cab. Cab is the original 1954. Old body holes (gear shift & buttons) in cab floor sealed to prevent cab exhaust, custom transmission cowling, Interior foam rubber insulated throughout, new custom carpeting, old tan bench seat in excellent condition, three point seatbelts added. Custom chromed "GMC" on front with new chrome grill. New headliner. New stainless steel hood trim in box along with new electronic windshield washer motor and conversion kit with wiper arms etc. Original Wipers and mountings. Steel utility box mounted in bed. Newer gas tank under frame (original '54 had in cab). New never connected radio with CD & USB mounted in dash.
Drivetrain/frame: Fuel injected 350 (5.7L) Vortex V-8 two bolt mount hydraulic roller-cam engine, new starter as of May 2017, 700R4 automatic transmission, rear wheel drive. Using a 1993 shortened frame & front suspension, tilt steering column (power steering) and rear end. Lowered body with under axle rear springs and new "add-a-leaf" springs added to accommodate improved ride, level body stance and fender clearances. Power front disc brakes, REV Mags, 245/60r15 B.F. Goodrich Radials, Aluminum radiator with electric fan and manual fan switch in cab, there is an a/c compressor on the motor but no other a/c components. Original under dash heater removed ( but available) to accommodate planned vintage air unit.
Engine has good power. New battery. New fuel pump and filters.
'93 electronics computer installed in glovebox.
Comes with purchased/new in box items: Rear bumper (custom recessed bumper is on currently, but original good condition rear bumper is provided for more original look if desired, bumper brackets are internet available), Two rear bed stainless steel angle strips (for truck body to wood bed strips), Polished stainless steel center hood molding strip (to replace painted strip), RH Chrome mirror ar, RH passenger side exterior rearview mirror w/ bracket gaskets & screws, Interior black sun visors (2), RH visor rod, have original LH visor rod, Polished aluminum GMC step plates for running boards, Windshield wiper motor kit (12v motor, switch, and wiring, mounting hardware), Windshield wiper transmission set, retaining clips & spring, Car horn set .
This truck has a great look and would make a great motorcycle hauler, cruiser or shop truck, in addition to vintage vehicle shows and displays.
