1978 gmc sierra classic 1/2 Ton Short bed Fleetside C10

1978 GMC Sierra 1500

I refer to this truck as Mellow Yellow....1978 GMC 2WD, 1/2 Ton, short bed, fleetside with upper and lower moldings and two tone paint.
I purchased this truck with the intentions of lowering it on some 18” torque thrust wheels and making it a shop truck but have since decided to purchase a house.
The truck appears to have had one repaint in the factory yellow and white combo, the paint is faded and old but has a nice patina look to it.
The body is straight and solid, there are a few bubbles on the front outer edge of the hood, the rockers and cab corners are solid, there is a little rust inside the cab on the lower kick panels.
Truck was originally a manual transmission and was properly converted to an automatic. Has a sbc 350. Truck runs, shifts and drives nice!
The interior is in good condition, the seat needs to be reupholstered or leave the seat cover on, dash has typical cracking going on. The dash has NOT been cut up for a stereo and there are NO speaker holes cut into the doors. Everything works, Heater, dash lights, horn, gauges, headlights, blinkers and so on.
The tires on the truck are new and I will include a set of truck rally wheels to the winner of the auction.
I know people say this a lot but I’m truly bummed to have to sell this truck, they are not easy to find in this format and condition anymore. As you know these trucks are super hot right now and will be the next big ticket item, just like the 67-72’s.
If you are bidding in Ca, rest assured this truck just passed California’s smog test with flying colors.
