1968 GMC G1500 Handi Van. This is the short wheelbase, o window, o side doors van. These are pretty rare especially with the original black plates. It has a rebuilt straight 6 with a 3 speed manual on the column and runs great. It is almost completely rust free (a few penny size spots shown in pictures). It is very straight as well with only a few small dents. I have done my best to photograph the dents but theydon'tseem to show that well. I have not seen a vehicle with this little rust in a long time. It has a great patina to it, believe it is the original weather beaten paint. There is new primer on the top of the van to hide the grafiti that was added by a band I was in, f you like the patina look some quick sanding would bring it back up top as well. The guy i bought this from told me he was the second owner.
I have had this van sitting around for a few years, y plan was a mid engine twin turbo V8 but I justdon'thave the time. You will not find a straighter more rust free van for you project than this one.
The problems:Head lights, ail lights, nd turn signals worked when i parked it, hey do not work now. Driver side window track needs adjustmentbut window does go up and down.
