1986 GMC Sierra 2500 Sierra

1986 GMC Sierra 350 manual transmission. 3/4 ton truck. Heavy duty truck. Original paint, interior, engine. This truck has never been tampered with by anyone. I purchased off the original owner with plans to do a total restore. However, my father gave me his truck so my wife can drive it so I can't have both. This truck may not look like a gem, but it has great bones the cab is really solid with a few spots inside rocker panel. The fenders and doors have typical GM rot, but those parts are easy to come by. It had some blotches of red primer that I covered with some blue that I could match close enough to, but it is origianl and there is nothing to hide, the way it shoudl be. It is a dual tank truck, but has only driver's side tank attached. Tanks cost $150 new. The undercarriage is clean. The engine has been well maintained and it purrs like a kitten. Drives like new, like a car actually that smooth. What attracted me to it was the originality of teh truck. No wires or hoses have been removed and it looks like it did in 1986. The 4 wd feels like it was never used. It is so tight and shifts smoothly. Tires are in great shape. This is a great truck and is going to make an excellent restoration for someone.
