Up for auctionis my 1951 GMC 450 truck.
I have a clean California title in my name and its on non op with original door vin plate.Title and vin numbers match. No license plate. Straight forward title transfer in Cali no back fees.
As you can seecountless hours of laborinvested. It gets a ton of attention and compliments.
I'll start off with the good part here is what hasbeen done.Top is gone, chopped windshield, suicide doors, filled gas cap, vents, wipers, door handles, window channels,NEW heavy duty hinges,NEW bear claw latches, seats made from round bar steel,NEW dash,NEW floor,NEW firewall, cowl andwhere fenders connect havebeenfilled for a smooth flowing look, like older cabs.Cali truck no rust, S10 bed shortened and narrowed with roll pan, cedar bed floor, rebar grille, headlights from a GM car. Rattle can satin black. Cab is roomy compared to ones of the 30s and 40s, fits bigger guys no problem.
Complete GMC 228 motor and transmission. Motor turns freely by hand other than that no idea of condition.Its complete from air cleaner to driveshaft.

This truck is one of a kind, so many mods have been done. The mid to rear section of frame is 2"x4"x120 thick steel, front clip is 51 GMC, Dana open rear end highway gearing, steering is 51 GMC don't know if its worth rebuilding. That being said. Truck is set up to roll onto a transportation vehicle. Wheels and tires areno good.FrameNEEDS WORKif you plan to use it, like cutting, welding andgrinding. Suspension would need parts as well.
