Up for your viewing pleasure is this 1969 Gmc value van aka Chevy P10. This was a dry cleaning can back in the day in Palm Springs. The old registration is still taped to the wall. The interior still has some grime and some parts that go to another rig. I love the rough exterior demeanor that the van has. I had an incredible old school sign painter get the lettering to look like the rest of the van. No major damage, but it does have bondo in areas. If you are looking for a perfect van keep looking! I had the front floor wells, one rear wheel well and just below the battery repaired due to rust. Three of the four front windows and rubber have been replaced. New mill supply hardware got the doors locking. The seat was reupholstered. The 250 straight six runs well mated to a powerglide. The powerglide was flushed and works well. You won't win any races or go 85 but you do have a new fuel pump, rebuilt carb, new hei distributor, plugs n wires, new 1 wire alternator, new red top battery, new front brakes, new 3/4 cpp drop kit(springs n shocks) rebuilt steering box, new u joints, new rear trailing arm bushings, new gas tank and gauge, and recently powder coated rims with new tires rolling poverty caps. A lot has been done to this but it still needs someone to finish off the interior. It does have a LOUD police siren that has a big green button on the dash. I was hoping to do a digital dash, loud stereo, disco ball and some kind of pleather in the back..... It would benefit from power steering and disc brakes if you have the means.
