1965 Ford Mustang 2 Door Coupe (all Original Restoration) with Numbers matching factory 289-225HP CI V-8 engine under the hood with the numbers-matching 4-speed manual transmissionrecentlyrebuilt (Trans 5 on the Door tag) andaftermarket Edelbrock 650 4 barrel carburetor. I do have the original 4bbl Carburetor (which I have seen listed on eBay for over $1,000), lus it has Hooker headers, Glass pack exhaust with original Trumpets, upgraded AM/FM sound system with MP3.
I am the second owner current owner of this 1965 Ford Mustang which was built in San Jose, A in late 1965 and has 1966 Aqua Blue Paint (F code). Factory GT Package includes Fog Lights, og Light swithch that activates the rear tail lights, 3/16 front sway bar, actory Front Disc Brakes, nd Rear Trumpet Exhaust hangers.
It does have finishing touches like Upgraded Cobra Ford valve covers andChrome AirCleaner and a Factor correct upgrades under the hood. This Mustang runs and drives excellent. The restoration started in 2007 everything was brought to correct factory installed items over 8 years It has remained in storage since that time, ince it has been driven only 1000 miles, nd a ready to roll.
I could drive this 1965 Mustang across country with now worries. 289 / 4-barrel has a mild cam, oller Rockers were installed, ccel electronic ignition, ccel coil, ull length headers, -10 Borg Warner 4-speed (recently Rebuilt, isc brakes, actor GT light bar, rumpet exhaust package, riginal front disc brakes, ew interior two tone pony (Factory Body 65B Pony Interior and Door Tag Correct Trim F2) with New Factory looking Auto Sound stereo with MP3, ood grain steering wheel Ralleye wheels are BF Goodrich tires are new, lean straight solid body and floors with nice paint shows some wear, ully serviced and ready for the road or Long road trip.
I does have a GT 350 hood that fits a little higher in the rear to give clearance for high rise Edelbrock Performer manifold. Rear End has highest gear ratio offered 3.00:1, onventional for low RPM highway cruising. Radiator is original and has been Reconditioned runs at 180-200 degrees in hot Arizona sun. But if you’re looking for an incredible driver that is all original restoration, hen there is simply not a better choice within my reserve. I have added added all new Performance AC Spark Plugs, ccel 8mm Plug wires, ccel Coil and Accel Electronic Ignition upgraded in December 2015.
