THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL 1949 FORD SEDAN. OBTAINED FROM A PRIVATE OWNER DOWNSIZING HIS COLLECTION WITH THE INTENTION OF FINISHING AND DRIVING BUT FAMILY ISSUES FORCED SALE.
I PURCHASED CAR ALMOST FOUR YEARS AGO AND WAS USING AS A WEEKEND DRIVER.UPDATED INTERIOR, AINT NEW ABOUT A YEAR AGO...THE GRAPHICS ON THE PAINT ARE ALL HAND DONE AND REQUIRED SEVERAL DAYS TO DO JUST THE GRAPHICS. THE CAR HAS ORIGINAL SKIRTS AND CHROME WHEEL RIMS .RUNS AND LOOKS GREAT. FLATHEAD 6 WITH 3 SPEED ON THE COLUMN. PARTIALLY CONVERTED TO 12V. VERY LITTLE NEEDED TO FINISH.
RECENT ENGINE WORK AT A COST OF ALMOST $2000,ALL NEW GASKETS, ND FLUIDS AND TUNE UP, EW SECTOR BOX AND GEAR, EW OIL SLINGER INSTALLED ( ENGINE HAS TO BE PULLED TO CHANGE) WITH OIL CHANGE AND FILTER.CAR HAS BEEN STORED INSIDE A SECURE WAREHOUSE SINCE COMPLETION AS I HAD MAJOR SURGERY AND HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO DRIVE THE CAR. HAD NO PROBLEM WITH CRUISING AT 60 MPH BEFORE WORK WAS PERFORMED.
CAR IS A FOUR DOOR SEDAN WITH A VERY NICE GREY AND BLACK INTERIOR. TRUNK IS SOLID WITH A SPARE THAT LOOKS NEW BUT I AM NOT SURE OF AGE. THIS IS AN ALL ORIGINAL CAR WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE LIGHTS AND IGNITION BEING 12 VOLT. NEW SET OF DOOR AND TRUNK LOCKS INCLUDED.
