1972 Ford F 100 4X4 SWB 360 V8 with 4 spd Manual Transmission and Transfer Case offered by Gas Monkey Garage with . ! Ford introduced the F series of truck in 1948 and Americans have been in love with them ever since making them the #1 selling truck in North America (for 24 years the F series was the #1 selling vehicle in the U.S.!) We acquired this nicely preserved example built at the San Jose Truck plantthat spent its entire life in sunny California .The original 360 V8 starts and runs. The exterior is fairly straight and solid with minor scratches and dings present as you would expect on a 43+ year old truck. Side and rear glass are present and usable however the windshield is cracked (see all pics).Underside pics reveal a solid frame, loor, ed& suspension components with superficial rust present on most components (see all pics). The interior appears fairly complete making for an easy restoration of this Classic Iconic American pickup Truck however there is rust perforation on the floors (see all pics). Now I normally look for the two wheel drive SWB F100’s, o when I found a 4X4 I acted quickly to secure it for the shop. While this would be an excellent candidate for a full on restoration or custom build here at the shop, e are too busy to get to this one so I’m offering it to you just like I found it needing some work(the rear drive shaft is not installed but it will drive for loading or unloading with the front drive shaft)This truck runs but should be serviced completely before extended driving due to unknown service history (and due to our filming schedule, e can’t service this truck prior to delivery) Sold as is/where is!
