Click above arrow for video of "BLUE" 1952/1953 Ford truck! (if it doesnt work, ry watching on non mobile device)
This late 52 Ford Truck "blue" Was owned by a man in Pennock Mn who had used this as a daily driver up until he sold it to us in 2010. He called her "Blue". I have had it in storage since then with the intention of pulling it out and doing a complete restoration on it. I just dont have the time to get to it so I am offering it up for sale.
I had the truck re tuned up with new tune up part, lugs, ebuilt carb hoses etc. I replaced the master cylinder with a new one and had new a brake line etc to rear, he fronts are not hooked up. Truck stops the way it is. The engine runs like a dream (see video) and the engine doesnt knock, iss, r smoke, ou can barley hear it run. The truck starts up on the first try everytime. As it was sitting in storage the last five years, bypassed the original gas tank and ran it off a aux tank for the video just to play it safe until the new owner has a chance to clean out the old tank (tank looked decent but like to be safe) We convertied the truck to a 12 volt system and rewired headlights, ash lights, ailights, tarter to 12 volt and all work.
The truck comes with a spare tire laying in the bed. The original wood bed is there under the metal cover and looks good. At one point the previous owner had the radiator out and when he reinstalled it, idnt put in the fan shroud. It is with the spare in the back of the truck. The tires look good and servicable. The truck comes with a clean and clear title ready for you to register. This truck is a 1952 ford 3/4 pick up truck that was painted by the previous owner owner 15 years ago and is all steel with some minor dings etc here and there on fenders/body. A very solid truck thats basically rust free with great floors, ab doors etc. Look at the pics and video to see what the truck is.
There were 19991 f3 trucks produced in 52, his truck was number 1921, ne of the last to be produced! Thus when it was titled, t was titled as a 1953. The vin decode is as follows. F3R2sp19216 ,"series F3"-F3 3/4 ton conventional, ngine code "R" v8 239 CI, roduction year "2" 1952, ssembly plant "SP" St paul mn, roduction sequence #19216
The seat was professionally reupholstered and looks great. As the video shows, his truck rides and drives and in my opinion, omething that you can have a blast with driving right away while tinkering with it. The only things I would personally do is finish the front brakes and clean the gas tank out to make this truck a daily everyday driver! As everybody has their own opinion of what a survivor truck should be, would recommend coming to inspect the truck or hire ebay to do a independant inspection for you before placing a bid. I require a 500 dollar non refundable deposit within 24 hours of auction end. If I do not get the deposit within the time frame or before you come for the truck, will assume you are a dreamer or a scammer and not serious about buying it. As I do not want to overcall it or undercall it, et the video and pictures tell the story. I can help recommend shippers I have used in the past who have been very reasonable. If you have any questions at all, lease call 563-568-5111 or 563-568-1182 thanks and have fun bidding on "BLUE, very neat survivor Ford Truck!
