This auction is for a 1930 Ford Model A standard roadster. The engine is freshly rebuilt. It is . 080 over bored. It has new rings. The pistons are 4 ring pistons. Valves have been reground. The crank mains are . 0025-. 003 clearance. The rods have . 001-. 0015 clearance. Those are to Ford specifications. The engine has all new gaskets including a leak proof head gasket (not copper). It has a Leakless stainless water pump. New cast aluminum fan blade. This roadster has a good clutch. transmission. and rear end. New transmission gaskets and the rear end has new drum seals. This car has a NEW Brookville body. The hood. running boards. shields. and aprons are also new. The car has original fenders which are in excellent condition. the stainless trim is in excellent condition also. The headlights are in excellent original condition too. The brakes are in good condition and the emergency brakes have new linings. The brakes have all new hardware with new brake rods. clevis's. and pins. It also has new brake anti rattle springs. All cotter pins are stainless. New king pins and bushings. The tie rods have been rebuilt. The drag link has been rebuilt. The car has a shortened pitman arm for better steering. The steering box is in good shape also. New wishbone fastener assembly. The ball socket has been shimmed. The car has all new modern grease fittings so any new style grease gun may be used. New Lebaron Bonney top. The interior. rumble seat. and all panels were assembled by Lebaron Bonney at their factory. New front and rear chrome bumpers with new bumper clamps and end bolts. New powder coated bumper brackets. front and rear. This car has fresh Diamont basecoat/clearcoat paint. The color is chicle drab with cobra drab reveals and a Tacoma cream stripe. The chassis has been painted with single stage urethane. Don't let the Brookville body discourage you. they have fooled the judges at national meets in the past and also gives you the comfort of knowing your Model A has had no bodywork or been wrecked. Absolutely no patch panels have been used either. This car is close to a perfect Model A. If you are looking for a fine points car. this is not the car for you.
