1965 Ford Mustang

Great fully restored 65 Mustang Convertible 289 V8 - awesome running condition and only a few thousand miles on the restored car!
Purchased 7/2021 with ~95,600 miles and have put about 3K miles on it. I am the third owner of the car, the first one to purchase the fully restored including the engine (and new transmission) around 95,000 miles.
This could be a daily driver for sure, runs so smooth, shifts with no problems (see new clutch below), starts easy.

No body rust, almost no dings at all (if there are nothing greater than a few pin points). Underbody is clean (see pics) - with only a few minor surface rust spots.
You will be super excited to get this car and will get many compliments. This car was even featured as a centerpiece car a few years ago at a local Chicago "cars and coffee" type event (see pics).

Car highlights:
- Always garage kept, never parked overnight on the street
- Minimal drives in the rain (got caught once or twice unexpectedly)
- Custom headers
- Upgraded aluminum radiator
- T10 4 speed transmission
- New clutch installed last year less than 200 miles driven on it
- Power steering (really really beneficial - manual steering is just not that great for 65 Mustang, no more loose wheel feel when driving, easy to maneuver)
- Power convertible top. Convertible top is clean, no rips or tears - like new
- Power front disc brakes for better stopping power
- No tears or rips in the seats - not worn out
- Stereo sound with subwoofer with bluetooth "classic" radio (has a switch to make it look like 65 style radio), powered amp, front speakers with tweeters
- New front shoulder seat belts (in a box not installed)
- Oil change and oil filter performed end of March 2025, along with new fuel filter (didn't need it for any known reason but replaced because was easy and cheap)
Everything works on this car great!
Note the photos I pulled from some great shots. The first 4 are from when I purchased the car in Salt Lake City in 2021. The next 3 were from 2022, 2023. The rest (including the video) are from within the last month - will be posting more or if anyone wants to view a specific spot on the car. I also posted the inspection report I ordered when I had the car inspected before I purchased the car in 2021. The rep at the company told me informally it was one of the best restorations they have ever seen.
Clean title under my name.
If local pickup - can accept cashier’s check but would need to go to the bank together near seller’s location to have the check issued. Fee for check is buyer’s responsibility.
