1964 FORD F100 4X4This is a solid truck to build, or just do some work and drive it as is. It is solid and has little rust. This isn't a highboy, as in the traditional slang used to describe a 1967-1977 8-lug ford 4x4's. This does sit higher than the other ford 1/2 tons from 1967 on. This has era correct 16" wheels that are one piece. They take the "innie" style hubcaps. The truck would look cool with coker superlug tires on it. MECHANICAL

This pickup does not have an engine. I have decoded the VIN, and it originally had a 292 V8. The bellhousing, transmission, transfer case, and drivelines are all still in this. For those who don't know, this has the divorced transfer case like the '67-'77 highboys. The wheels are the original style 16" skinnies. It rolls and steers fine for loading.

BODY

The body is really solid for the year. It has minor rust in each floorboard. Easy to repair. The drivers side cab tower has a little rust. It is still solid and not sagging. Easy to repair without jacking the cab up. The rear cab corners will need replaced if your restoring it. They are pretty easy to do too. Minor rust in the bed floor. It will be easy to patch if you decide to. It is still solid and usable. They sell bed floor replacement panels.

INTERIOR

The interior needs work. If your going low budget, you'll need a seat cover and floor mat. The dash pad needs to be replaced. I'm sure it could use door and window seals. The pics tell the story.
