1929 Ford Model A THE COUPE THAT BUBZ BUILT

Once in a while, something comes along that almost no one can disagree with and one of those things is this 1929 Ford 5-Window Coupe, which is the original, quintessential hot rod. Chopped on the west coast where she spent most of her life, this is the iconic traditional hot rod.

Pop open the steel engine side panels to reveal a 302ci small block Ford V-8. An Edelbrock aluminum intake and matching Edelbrock four-barrel carb send power into the block and out through a KOOKS front to back exhaust system.

That power then gets channeled through a B&M tuned C4 automatic transmission and out to a TRI-5 Chevy 9 inch rear @3:55 ratio gearing(totally rebuilt) rear end.

The solid axle drop beam forged front axle with a pair of chrome hot rod shocks and a reinforced original boxed Model A chassis to give this 29 Ford a solid but traditional feeling ride over any road.

Sixteen inch Coker steel rims sit shod in true hot rod fashion, with skinny 5.00x16 bias "pie crust" tires up front while big 7.00x16 s sit out back open to the world not hidden behind any wheel arches to spoil the nostalgia.
