1967 Ford F100, Bump Side, Short Bed. The 1967 is a one year built truck, other years are close but not the same.
Truck has been restored to its current condition. This truck has a strong running, sought after FORD 7.3 DIESEL POWER STROKE. You heard that right. Hear the power in the video below. This Ford Legacy Motor is bullet proof, its a million mile motor, that sounds as all diesels do with a deep Ford rumble, and a cool ass whistle sound. This truck looks and acts all business with a build that is powered by Fords most reliable diesel engine. The vision for this F100 build was to replicate the diesel motor in a cool, sporty, short bed truck. And even the most disconcerting Ford enthusiast will have to admit - we nailed it! Starting with a very solid southern Georgia truck, the body was stripped to bare metal. Only portions of the floor pans, needed replacing to bring it back to its rust free condition.
A CV front end, including rack and pinion, power brakes, 4 speed automatic transmission and a 9 inch rear axle that handles the road like most modern trucks do, was used. 18 inch Ford Wheels and tires were used to aid in the traction department and give it a muscle look. The trucks laser straight lines, and excellent panel alignment, adds to the great attention to detail that has gone into this build. To enhance the diesel motor and give it a sporty look is a bright red absolutely flawless paint job. This paint job is a testament of the precision that has gone into this build. The interior of the F100 stays true to its sporty sleek looks with the original bench seat with original seat cover. There is a small tear by the passenger side seat cover on the edge. You will be hard press to find flaws but it was hard to pass up the condition of this original seat with a new one. Modern touches such as updated gauges ( from 7.3 diesel) and a sport steering wheel expertly blend in with the trucks cool interior. There is brand new carpeting, billet hood hinges and numerous other fine details that are too many to list. You dont have to be Ford diesel enthusiast to love this truck but be prepared to be approached by all those that are!
