1973 Ford F-100 RANGER XLT

Hello, good day. Up for sale is a Ford F-100 dent side project that I have started work on but have been unable to finish. I have a few other vehicles as well I am selling, would be willing to make a bulk deal. It is not far from running and driving but it has been sitting a while so may need additional work once its rolling. I cleaned the fuel tank, installed a new starter and battery, and changed the fluids. It is a great example and in good shape throughout, it may also be a good restoration piece because of its trim level, year, powertrain, etc..The good:First year of this generation where it got many refinements over the previous generation.Highest trim level available for the time, the Ranger XLT trim level.One of the largest and most sought after engines of the time, a 390FE Big Block V8.Optional 3 speed Automatic C-6 Transmission.AC, PB, PS, dual tanks, manual windows, radioFord 9" rear differential.Front disc brakes.Restored Green Interior.Less than 59k original miles.Very good paint for the year.The bed is not wavy.Comes with a cool camper.Rust free with nearly perfect floorboards.Southern Arizona vehicle.Mostly complete.Clean title, box A accurate mileage.Pre-1975.The bad:It does not drive yet but cranks immediately and with ease.Needs ignition solenoid wired up.Has not been registered since 1991.Some dents in the body and missing a few pieces of trim.The tailgate needs adjusted to close properly.Needs windshield installed (I have one included)Grill has some dents and is missing an insert (Headlights are included)Fuel tank needs to be re-installed (I cleaned it)Needs fuel lines cleaned and rubber line section replaced.Carburetor and timing might need adjustment.Brakes look good but may need work.Missing the long driveshaft section and AC compressor.Some bits of the interior still need help like rear window weatherstripping, steering wheel, dash, etc.Missing both body hooks on tailgate and tailgate trim has some dents.Camper shell could use a renovation.In conclusion:This is a great foundation for a dentside Ford truckand overall in good condition throughout. First year with the highest trim level with nearly all of the options and a desirable powertrain package. It should not be far away from a solid driver but could be a desirable restoration job as well if you wanted to get into it a bit. It is a pre-75 as well, perfect for the California folk.
