This exceptional 1934 Ford Model 40 Three Window Coupe was garage kept and untouched in its original condition until 1967. Then the all steel coupe was transformed into a more modern classic with upgrades to give the 34 Coupe more comforts, better dependability and safer ride all while preserving the originality of the 1934 look. Rare to find an all steel, un-chopped and unmolested 1934 coupe in this condition. So, in 1967 the 34 coupe received a Corvette 283 small block and related drivetrain. A higher geared rear coupled with an automatic transmission gives the coupe a perfect combination of originality and " hot rod". The coupe goes down the road with power, effortlessly, straight, comfortable and without a flaw, It uses no liquids except gasoline and does not leak a drop.
Fully Restored to show standards, in 1967 the coupe received the burgundy mohair like cloth interior, the professional paint, the Stewart Warner gages, original interior trim, door handles etc. etc. The windows, cowl vent, door and lock mechanisms all work as they did in 1934. Since 1967 there has been just one other owner and very few miles {4800}. Always stored correctly in a climate controlled environment, and used sparingly on sunny summer days only.
