1957 ford retractible skyliner.TOP DOES NOT WORK.restoration project.312, 4-barrel,automatic.motor does start and run but quits after a bit.carb is dried out.new fuel pump added.car was brought up here last year from New Mexico by fellow hobbyist.he started on the interior himself which is driver quality at best but is attractive and clean.could not find any one to figure out the top so he gave up.so i bought it to give it a shot.found out not as smart as i thought. nobody around wants to tackle it! car appears to have been redone some years back and is showing its age.has had rust repair and does have body filler.inside trunk is fairly solid.new headliner goes with car.car is missing top windshield motor and lock downs,also trunk lockdowns.car probably driven for a period of time after being redone,then sat in the sun till the interior baked out.has clear New Mexico title last titled 18 years ago.
