1951 Ford Crestliner Black

In 1950 & 1951 the Ford Crestliner was a limited edition two door sedan which was easily distinguished by its vivid contrasting color sweep. In these years the Crestliner came standard with fender skirts, two tone color and a dual bullet grill. This was repeated on the factory padded vinyl top and enhanced with gold anodized emblems.

The 2 tone interior with black carpet and matching door panels enhance the appeal. Also introduced in 1951 was the turn-key ignition. The Crestliner came with only 1 choice for power and that was the 100hp 239 CID V-8 with a 3 speed manual with overdrive. In late1951 Ford introduced the 3 speed Ford-O-Matic as an option.

This car is in outstanding condition inside and out. Paint is Black on Green with no scratches, dents, or imperfections. Vinyl top is original and in perfect condition. This car is show quality and probably the winner at any show. It has been in family over 50 years. My dad bought from original owner. He did minor restoration to car (which didn't need much). He was well respected in the V& car club, as he was an advisor to 1950s cars and wrote the book on restoring 1950 cars (see picture).The interior is just a good as exterior. Cloth and vinyl is outstanding, dash and instruments look new. You will not be disappointed in condition of this car. The only imperfection on this car is there is small pitting on the chrome in the front grill not much but some.Non-refundable deposit of 500.Inspections are welcome.
