The car comes with a Clean Clear Title and a Bill of Sale from the State of Tennesse. The car is located in Ada, Oklahoma a little over an hoursouth of Oklahoma City. This is aproject that is mostly complete. I'vedone my best to describe the car in detialwithin this listing below. It is highly recommended you view the car in personbefore you bid if possible or jump on a video call with me. Additionally, there is also a link in the description with over 250 pictures you can view. I am selling the car where is as is. The buyer is responsible forshipping and or pick up cost. The car rolls and steers but has no brakes. The steering linkage is setup to steer both tires but the steering box is not hooked up. All four tires hold air but the driver rear goes flat after a while. Please note, there are three sections of information within this listing below that will answer a lot of the questions you have. Please read all three sections before you bid! Please also note the car was in a front end accident in 1981 and will need the front frame rails and aprons repaired. What it has and what is needed: PLEASE READ EVERYTHING AND VIEW ALL OF THE PICTURES BELOW BEFORE BIDDING!
Here is the current condition of the car as I understand it best having looked it over:
- Drivetrain:The9 inch differential with 3.25 gear and differential tag is still in the car as well as the C-6 Transmissionand Driveshaft. TheA/C compressor, pulleys, brackets, and power steering are still on the car as well. The current 390 engine may not be original and is missing the Cylinder Heads, Intake, Carb, Air Cleaner, and Exhaust Manifolds. The oil pan was damaged in the accident and the motor does not turn over. More information on the accident can be found below.
- Body:The bodyis mostly completeand in goodshape for the age. But there is rust in some areas which I've done my best to highlight in the pictures below as well as the pictures within the photo bucket link. The Fastback roof, door channels, drain channels, drip rails, A pillars, quarter panels, inner and outer wheel wells, and torque boxes are in great shape. But there is some rust on the floor pans and in the trunk next to the gas tank.In addtion, there is front end damage on the car and the fenderswill need replaced. There are more details on the suspension description below of the damage and how it occured from what I was told. All of the glass is in the car but the front windshield is broken and will need replaced. The car has dings and dents. I recommend fully stripping the car of its current paint and starting from a clean surface giving the car a full restoration. It was previously painted with Sherwin Williams Catalyzed Urethane Automotive Paint to preserve the body in storage. No bodywork was done at the time, only color.
- Suspension:The rear suspension is in great shape and the rear frame rails are in excellent shape. Sadly, the car was drag raced on a back road in the late 80s and ended up in an accident. This causedsome serious damage to the driver and passenger front frame rails, the front suspension, and the radiator support. Please take your time and look over the picturesto verify if this is acceptable to you before you bid. The front lower suspension took on a lot of damage and the front crossmember under the oil pan is missing. The car will roll and steer but it will need a lot of work.
- Interior:From what I can tell the interior is complete and all of the fastback panels are in good shape. Seats will need recovered, there is no headliner, and the dash pad is warped. Basically, the interior will need a full restoration but seems to be mostly original and complete.
- The car suffered a wrecked in 1981:The car was wrecked in 1981. At that time it was parked and sat never to be put back on the road again. This is how I got the car and I was not there for the accident. It is my opinion that the front frame rails will need to be repaired on a frame machine/frame rack for proper straightening. I do not see any damage to the firewall or A-Pillars. The doors close fine and the undercarriage doesn't appear to have any twisting or damage from the accident. It is all on the front rails, radiator support, and aprons. During the accident, the steering linkage and front crossmember was knocked off the car. Currently a metal rod is running from one spindle to the other so the car can steer but the rod is not hooked up to the steering box. It will need turned by hand.

Payment The car must be paid for in full within 3 days of the end of the auction via cash or a Bank Wire Transfer directly to me. I am self employed and can help with pick up by being on site when the car is picked up as well as work with your shipper to schedule the pick up day and time. I will take pictures of the pick up vehicle as well as their DOT number and License plate which I will send to you via Ebay to verify Pick Up has happened unless you pick up the vehicle yourself. I am not responsible to any damage done via your shipper. This vehicle will require a winch to load on a trailer and cannot be pulled by the front suspension due to the current damage. The shipper will need to attach his winch to the middle crossmember under the transmission for safety purposes.
