Nice Driver, garage kept for last 13 years
1966 Ford Other Cobra
Up for sale is a 1966 AC Cobra, "Hunter" brand kit car, built in Florida bought by me on eBay auction in 2011 I have made many improvements over the years and even had it painted about 5 years ago.I will first say why I am selling this beauty, well as of Dec. 2023 I had my 12th, lumbar surgery I have trouble working on, cleaning and worst of all driving it. Because of this it is got to go. The car was built in 2009, it has a 351 Windsor, C-6 trans, Corvette full independent suspension with a corvette differential, Power Camaro disk brakes, Line lock if you like making lots of smoke, Optima battery 1year old, Pre-oiler for start-ups, Electric fuel pump and filter all in trunk above fuel cell, all hoses are Aero quip for cool-ness, oil filter is relocated with an oil cooler, oversized oil pan, oversized trans pan 'B&M", was dino tuned several years ago and had 285 hp. at the wheels, This car is fast and actually scares me fast... I had it to 145 mph for about 20 sec. and almost wet my shorts, TOOO old for that sht., As I mentioned earlier, I won this on Ebay in 2011 I'm in Pa. the car was in Fl. it was titled there a 1966 Ford coupe so when I brought it back and registered it, they kept it a 1966 Ford hmmmmm. so do with that what you will, I did. I have put very little miles on it since some years it just sat in my garage under its cover with the trickle charger on it. I live in 17368 I would deliver it to any adjoining state to mine after full payment plus $1000 delivery paid also in advance. Otherwise, you're on your own You are welcome to look at it, hear it run, and if deposit non-returnable, a ride will be given," to keep the tire kickers and thrill ride seekers out." after I bought it I completely rebuilt the fuel system from cell to new carburetor and no ethanol has touched it Toung since the beginning. also run upper lube in 96 octane non-alcohol, Under full discloser it has one nagging idiosyncrasy when I take a sharp right turn onto a steep hill sometimes the driver's door will pop open slightly, now it don't do it with my wife driving and I am a bit rounder than she and maybe leaning a bit too much on the door since I am bigger and normally ride with my arm on the door and so it never really goes anywhere, i think it may just need some fine adjustment but my back is just getting in the way of me being the hot-rodder i once was. This sale does not come with any warranty, it is AS IS and no returns will answer any question you have if I can, study all the pictures and GOOD LUCK. I'm starting the bidding at $20,000 to go on for 10 days and buy it now for $30,000 W/ $500 holding deposit non-returnable. if I don't at least get my starting bid IT DOES NOT GO
