Owner’s Description

“Stunning 1929 Ford Hi-Boy Roadster that epitomizes classic style and meticulous craftsmanship. This vehicle features a Brookville steel body finished in professional Sierra Gold metallic paint, complemented by old-school black and white pin-striping and distinctive Lil-Pages graphics by Louis. It boasts a 1932 Ford grill shell, early Guide headlamps with shark nose markers, a chrome dropped lamp bar, and a 3-piece louvered hood. Additional chrome accents include the windscreen, door hinges, and a set of steel bobbed rear fenders. The rear of the car is finished with 1950 Oldsmobile taillights, a louvered rear roll pan, and Vintique steelie wheels wrapped in deluxe trim and wide whitewall radial tires. Inside, you'll find a custom pleated white Naugahyde interior, Stewart Warner gauges, a 1940 Ford steering wheel, electric wiper, floor shifter, seat belts, and an e-brake. Under the hood, this roadster features a 1949 Ford Flathead V8 with a mild bore and stroke, polished aluminum Offenhauser cylinder heads and intake manifold, chrome dual Holley 94 carburetors with teapot air filters, and a Hunt ignition distributor with billet wire separators. It also includes a Cornhusker raised water pump, polished engine mount conversion kit, and a raised flex cooling fan, paired with a Deuce radiator and billet coolant recovery. The custom chrome side-exit open headers and Ford C-4 automatic transmission (Cornhusker kit) complement the Ford 9" rear end for a smooth and powerful drive. The chassis and suspension are built on a 1932 Ford frame with show paint and pinched/boxed/molded rails. It features an early Ford hairpin front suspension, chrome dropped-forged axle with a multi-leaf buggy spring, Vega steering box with chrome cross-steer components, and a chrome Ford rear-end housing with a ladder bar rear suspension. The setup is completed with chrome front and rear shocks, polished-finned front brake drums, chrome backing plates, and drum brakes. The chrome-plated glass-pack dual exhaust and polished transmission cooler add to the show-quality appeal of the undercarriage, which is also finished with show-painted floor pans.”
