This ’34 Ford Pickup has a chopped and channeled steel Model B body along with a shortened pickup bed finished in olive green and mounted on a later-model frame. Power is supplied by a custom-built H&H flathead V8 equipped with Offenhauser heads, an Offenhauser triple-deuce manifold, Stromberg 97 carburetors, and wrapped lake-style headers linked to a dual exhaust system. The truck rides on a lowered suspension with steel wheels and hydraulic drum brakes, and inside B-25-sourced seats were installed along with Stewart Warner gauges and a dashboard and steering wheel sourced from a ’40 Ford. Built between 2007 and 2010 and acquired by the selling dealer in 2023, this ’34 hot rod is now offered in Florida with records and a clean Arizona title.

The steel bodywork was sourced from a 1934 Model B pickup, chopped and channeled, and finished in olive drab. The shortened pickup bed has drilled rails with red-painted barrels and wood accents. A custom radiator is concealed behind the ’34 grille topped by a knock-off-style ornament, and Guide-style headlights were fitted. The custom window glass is cracked.

The truck rides on a lowered suspension with transverse leaf springs, adjustable rear locating links, and a drilled front beam and locating links that have red-painted barrels to match the bed rails. The artillery-style steel wheels are painted a contrasting green and have V8-logo hubcaps and pie-crust blackwalls. The hydraulic brakes were sourced from a later model and have drilled backing plates.

H&H Flatheads custom-built the engine in 2007. A 59A block was acid-dipped, magnafluxed, bored, and resurfaced, and the valve seats were three-angle cut, ground, and had hardened seats installed. The rotating assembly was dynamically balanced, Clevite bearings and Melling timing gears were fitted along with Manley Performance valves, and the motor was topped by Offenhauser 59A heads. Displacement is believed to be 262 cubic inches.

The original build featured a Offenhauser 2×2 intake manifold setup, which has been replaced with an Offenhauser triple-deuce manifold with Stromberg 97s. The wrapped lake-style headers are linked to a dual exhaust system. The truck has a Mallory dual-point ignition system, an electric fuel pump, and a 12-volt alternator mounted in the generator housing.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed manual transmission from a later-model Ford truck. It is noted to occasionally slip out of second gear.
