This is a 1962 Ford f100 Unibody short pickup, these stylish trucks were built from 1961-1963 1/2. It is a very rare big window pickup, hard to find.
Vehicle Details
This truck is mostly in stock condition, it has a 223 cu inch 6 engine, a 3 speed, column shift transmission and a stock Borg Warner overdrive. It is an original black plate California truck, living most of its life in the Los Angeles area. I have owned this truck for 18 years, making it a very nice, drivable, dependable truck. Everything works as it should, and it runs and drives great! There was a small amount of rust in the corners of the doors, and the footwells of the cab. That was repaired 17 years ago and has not returned. The paint is not original, it was repainted the original color perhaps 40 years ago, and has been touched up by me. It is very presentable but by no means perfect. The engine runs well and uses no oil, it even has a rare Holley glass bowl carberator. All the window felts have been changed, as well as the front and rear window seals. The windshield has been changed as well.
