I’m listing my 1981 F100 Custom 25,950 actual miles, all original unmolested truck. I’m the 3 owner, I bought it in 2019 from the son of the man who bought it new in 1981, see original registration in photos. I have a copy of the 1988 title when the son bought it from his father and it shows 9630 miles then. The son told me the truck had never spent a night outside and was not driven in the winter or bad weather. His dad bought it new from the Ford dealer in Muscatine Iowa and the topper also at that time. The colored stripes we dealer installed prior to purchase and were very common at that time. The truck and topper have the seller’s decals on rear of truck. The son was very forthright and honest when representing the truck to me. The photos are somewhat out of order, I have many more of specific areas upon request from serious buyers. This truck is very original, three hub caps, like new have paper part numbers inside, original jack and tools appear never used, owners manual, two sets of original aluminum keys and topper keys as well. The truck starts well, motor is quiet, transmission, C6 3 speed auto shifts smoothly, power steering and brakes all good, tires are very old but hold air well and run at 65 ok. The body and sheet metal are excellent, no rust spots or repairs needed, the frame and suspension have surface rust. I have intentionally not touched up anything to leave originality. The surface rust can easily be treated with frame treatment product. Nothing needs fixing or repair. I was told by son that some paint work was done when his father owned the truck, story is that his brother borrowed truck and scrapped fence, I can see some evidence of paint repair in both box lower sides but no evidence of dent repair, paint looks acceptable and matches well. Most of paint appears original. Interior is awesome, dash, door panel, instrument cluster in beautiful condition. Location in Davenport Iowa 52804 . Thanks 5633494320, Jim $14,750.
