Extremely rare. Possibly 1 of 1. I didn’t pay extra to get the 1-of status from Marti but should have. Figured the Deluxe I ordered would have had that but no had to pay extra.
829 long bed flaresides were made this year. About 13 percent had 3-speed manual. 84 percent or so were big blocks. From there you can go on with paint codes.
The truck CAN run and drive. Had it running with can (ask for videos). Definitely has carb issues and plugs were fouled after I last tried to start it so selling it as a non-runner. Ran well last 2 starts but again carb issues.
Body is extremely straight, especially the bed. There is rust present as shown as well as floor pan. Original wood in bed can be saved. Was actually garaged for most of its life. There is a dent in hood.
Engine is a 265 hp 390 from a 1970 Ford. Runs great when it runs.
I realize not everyone likes flaresides and despite rarity (could be 1 of 1 or possibly 1 of 10. Dunno) some folks prefer the ubiquitous style sides. Up to you. Truck needs a full restoration.
Can help you load this onto trailer. You won’t be driving this to Montana.
