1963 ½ Ford Falcon Futura

Mileage: 38,385 original miles

All original – has all the emblems and trim intact. Garage stored up until 3 years ago when we built her her own carport here in Grass Valley, California. Runs and drives beautifully. Straight body. Pristine interior. Pictures of the limited issues (the headliner has a black mark that needs to be professionally cleaned and the overhead light is cracked). Needs an exterior paint job to be show-ready again. I could do the paint and ask more for her, but I desire to sell this car to someone who might be able to do it themselves or maybe knows a guy. Or just drive her as-is and enjoy her for the beauty she is. Rust-free and simply a fabulous car. Clean California title (currently on Planned Non Op). The title was issued to me by the state and it has clear blanks on the back to enter your information upon sale.

This Ford Falcon Futura was originally purchased by Helen Brooks of Hutchinson, Kansas on August 16, 1963. Mrs. Brooks traded in her 1958 Studebaker Packard for this Falcon and ordered the new Falcon with upgraded 1962 Tube TypeRadio and tinted windshield for an extra $12.95. The upgraded floor mats were also purchased from the factory.On March 1, 1983, at 36,168 miles, Willis and Ruby Sawyer of Lewis, Kansas became the proud new owners of the Falcon. Clearly a Sunday driver, this Falcon has limited mileage and between 1983 and today, she has only been driven 2,217 miles. At some point around the late 80s / early 90s she was sold at auction to my family at 38,177miles. I do not have the sales papers, only the auction tags. This makes me technically the 4th owner with my father being the 3rd.Mostly she’s been an award winner in a few car shows and driven in a handful of parades – hence the pristine interior and general excellent condition. I’ve swapped fluids and performed general maintenance to keep her road-ready since I inherited her from my father in 2015. Patty is a real head-turner. When I trailered her from Kansas to California, nearly everyone at each gas station would migrate over to inspect and swap their own Falcon stories. At the time I had no idea how amazing Falcon enthusiasts were, but over the years I have come to appreciate the cult following Falcons have.Patty will make the next lucky owner a happy driver.

The original sales documents, vehicle inspection paperworks (with mileages for each of the first 2 sales), and 1963 Falcon Registered Owner’s Manual all come with this sale. The PATTY plates are not part of the sale - they will be sold separate.
