This 1969 Ford Mustang hardtop was delivered new to Sonoma Motors Inc. in California and is said to have remained in a barn in Oregon until 2006. A subsequent refurbishment reportedly consisted of repainting the car in Porsche Forest Green Metallic with white side stripes, refreshing the Dark Ivy Gold interior, and rebuilding the 351ci V8 with KB Performance pistons, Air Flow Research aluminum cylinder heads, and a COMP Cams roller camshaft in addition to MSD electronic fuel injection and ignition systems. The three-speed automatic transmission is fitted with a 3k-rpm stall converter, and additional features include an Auburn limited-slip differential, a black vinyl roof cover, a hood scoop, 16″ American Racing wheels, Global West suspension components, and power-assisted front disc brakes along with power steering, aftermarket exhaust components, air conditioning, a Grant steering wheel, and a Rockford Fosgate MP3 stereo wired to aftermarket speakers. The Mustang is offered in Nebraska with the original sales invoice, a Deluxe Marti report, a copy of the build sheet, and Alabama registration in the seller’s name.

Finished from the factory in New Lime, the car was refinished in Porsche Forest Green Metallic with white side stripes during the aforementioned refurbishment. A black vinyl roof cover was optioned from the factory, and additional exterior details consist of a functional hood scoop with 351 badging, grille-mounted driving lights, dual side mirrors, faux quarter panel scoops, chrome bumpers, and dual rectangular exhaust outlets.

Polished 16″ American Racing wheels are wrapped in BFGoodrich g-Force tires measuring 255/50. The suspension has been modified with Global West adjustable strut rods and upper and lower control arms. Power steering and power-assisted front disc brakes were optioned when new.

The front bucket seats and rear bench are upholstered in Dark Ivy Gold vinyl with black inserts. A replacement dash pad and carpeting were fitted during the refurbishment, and interior appointments include a center console with cup holders, deluxe seatbelts, Mustang-branded rubber floor mats, air conditioning, and a Rockford Fosgate MP3 stereo wired to speakers in the door panels and rear shelf.

A leather-wrapped Grant steering wheel is mounted to a tilting column, on top of which sits an AutoMeter tachometer. Factory instrumentation consists of a 120-mph speedometer and readouts for alternator charging status, fuel level, engine temperature, and oil pressure. Aftermarket gauges mounted ahead of the gear selector monitor water temperature and oil pressure, and the five-digit odometer shows approximately 83k miles.

The 351ci Windsor V8 was rebuilt in 2006 with KB Performance pistons with a 10.5:1 compression ratio, Air Flow Research aluminum cylinder heads topped with Ford Racing-branded valve covers, and a COMP Cams Xtreme Energy roller camshaft. The engine is also equipped with an MSD electronic fuel injection system, March pulley system, a BeCool aluminum radiator, an Edelbrock Performer RPM AIR-Gap intake manifold, a polished air cleaner assembly, and MSD ignition and fuel system components. Dyno test results from 2010 are provided in the gallery and show peak outputs of 346 horsepower and 363 lb-ft of torque.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed C6 automatic transmission that is equipped with a Hughes Performance 3k-rpm stall converter and a 3.73:1 Auburn limited-slip differential is also installed. The dual exhaust system is fitted with Headman headers wrapped in a heat-insulating material in addition to Flowmaster mufflers.

The original sales invoice, a Deluxe Marti report, a copy of the build sheet, and other pertinent documents are included in the sale.

The car does not have a title, as it is registered in a state that does not issue titles for a vehicle of its age. It is being sold in Nebraska on its Alabama registration, which expired in March of 2023.
