Very rare and unique two owner Ford truck with lots of documentation
1977 Ford F-250
Very rare 1977 Ford F-250 CREW CAB two-wheel drive.I am selling this truck for an older friend of mine that bought it in 1980 from a friend who was the original owner.
The current owner has done most all of the work on this truck since new. He has pages of records showingthe service work. Below is just a little overview of work performed over the years.
Engine rebuilt August 1991 @ 168,000 miles, rebuilt rear end September 1991, posi unit installed @169,000 miles,C6 transmission rebuilt October 2015 @273,903 miles. New master cylinder, brake booster, front calipers and padsJanuary 2021 @ 291,840 miles, new radiator-water pump-all belts and thermostat May 2022 @296,194 miles.New spark plugs, dist cap-rotor and wires September 2022 @297,090 miles. New tires January 2023 @ 298,380 miles.Custom headers and stainless exhaust, truck always passes smog in California.
Although it has been well maintained and is in great shape for its age it is over 45 years old. Power steering boxhas a small leak and heater-A/C blower motor noisy. Door glass lower rubber is deteriorated, but new ones come with vehicle.Paint is a good driver but has flaws, wear and tear, scratches some bubbles here and there. (see pictures). Comes with many extra parts, (see pictures) including faux front hub caps that mimic 4WD. These were used when traveling to races where chains were required but he felt not necessary.
From 1977 thru 2003 this truck was mainly used to tow a race trailer.
