Only 5000 of the 1966 made and only 2600 were the wagon / half cab . Only 150 known Broncos are left today making this an extremely rare find High Performance Ford Racing Engine 400hp 8 cyl My father was a mechanic for over 50 years and this was his pride and joy! He built this engine complete with parts purchases from the Ford Racing High Performance Catalog. This Bronco was his dream car ! I can remember when we would go out prospecting in the Bronco and he would say I LOVE this car so much I am going to redo the entire thing ..... well he was on his way. He had disassembled the bronco sanded and primered it ready to paint. .He had already had the front end paint job but said he didn't like it ! HAHA That was so him a perfectionists . The engine was the biggest deal to him He spent so much time in this build . Literally every single part came from the Ford high-performance racing catalog. The engine is eight cylinder equaling over 400hp that he was very proud of ! He said he would not do anything else until his engine was done! He continued to rebuild the transmissio, carborator and other parts . Today we found the brand new trimming for each one of the wheel wells still in the box! We have all of the original parts even the original shifter and gas pedal dipsticks bumpers, gas cap everything. There are two different hoods one has the air intake on top, and the other is the original paint blue hood with small vents that came with the bronco.. we also have two different roofs, the one roof that is on it now with slight rustin, along with the other roof which is highest in demand the half cab. We did notice there is some slight bending where the bolts were removed and would need to be straightened out but other than that in good condition, we have the original drive train/drive shaft. and so so much more. He said when this car is completely built, it will be worth well over $100,000 especially because this year is the highest in demand and the most classic out of the all. The bronco was complete and running and we use to drive in it before he disassembled it a complete 1966 bronco all the way down to the shifter. He told me every single bolt is there plus all of the brand new bolts that he bought for it and guess what sure enough I found them all every bolt old and new bolts to we are asking a $1000 deposit non refundable all sales are final Thank You
