1957 Ford Other
Originally owned by a Ford factory worker. He sold it to his best friend in1981. Best friend passed and I purchase the car from his daughter in 2020. A good friend of mine wanted the car badly - I had other cars - so I sold it to him in mid 2021. He lost his storage and traded it back to me for some construction work.
Cold natured - but runs and drives well. In primer. Bench seat was done in leather by the friend - Blue and yellow leather that cost him $3,000.00. I have a cover on it - not my choice of colors - but could be dyed black.
Body panels are nice and straight - panel gaps are tight and uniform.
All of the side stainless is just back from the polishing shop - excellent - and the "Courier" scripts are like new condition. Not installed - waiting on paint.
The hatch back door + - 50 pound coil spring actuator has been replaced with dual electric actuators. Hatch back door will need additional attention before paint.
Inline 6 cylinder is original right down to the air cleaner.
Mileage is unknown - odometer shows 86,401
Not included in this auction - but available is a 1957 Thunderbird 312 and automatic that was taken out of a running driving 57 about 2 years ago.
